Are you really once saved always saved or can you lose your salvation?

salvation

This is definetely a lifetime job. You do not become saved and then do as you please. While God is all merciful, he does judge us by how we live our lives. If we don't follow His laws we are showing we do not love God and will not be saved. It is a small price to pay for an eternity with Him.

God does not judge.I equate salvation with the attainment of Christ consciousness. That is a state of spiritual enlightenment(also known as nirvana)where materialism is transcended and spiritual union with the godhead can eventually occur. It is difficult for anyone in our western materialist society to attain such a level of spiritual enlightenment but once salvation/nirvana has been attained after many reincarnations the spirit will no longer have any need to incarnate on this plane of existence and can ascend to higher realms of spiritual existence.

The Bible says that once we become a child of God's, nothing can take us out of His hands. That nothing would include ourselves. Christ died for ALL of our sins--past, present, and future! And it's a good thing too, cuz I don't live a perfect life by any means. That doesn't mean I've got permission to sin though. But even if I mess up, He's still waiting there with open arms. That is why the Bible says it is by grace you have been saved through faith, NOT OF WORKS....
If it was left up to me to get my way to heaven, I'd never get there!
