As he gazed out over the land,
The Master saw his enemies band,
Calling for his Only Son,
He said, "Your time has just begun."

"The flock is grazing unaware,"
"That the enemy has set his evil snare."
"They are out there all alone,"
"Its time to gather them and bring them home."

So the Only Son did go,
To protect his flock from his foe.
Unto his flock he did call,
Before the enemy could make them fall.

Leading them to a safer path,
He turned and faced his enemy's wrath.
And as he faced his enemy down,
His voice rang out with a majectic sound.

"Not one of my flock shall be lost!"
"For I have already paid their cost!"
The battle waged into the night,
His flock was preserved by his might.

The enemy was destroyed by his hand,
Finally, there was peace in the land.
He became a living shield,
Not one of his flock did he yield.

To his flock he turned his care,
Making sure each one was there.
And as he tended to their needs,
They praised their Saviors mighty deeds.
For their lives he fought and won,
He the One and Only Son.
