The book of revelation was regarded as suspect by the early christian church. The 'Beast' is an allegorical representation of something which posed a fundamental threat to christianity.Possibly therefore it represents imperial Rome. The book of revelation consists of imagery which was designed to impress people who were mostly credulous and unsophisticated by modern standards.I think it can safely be said that the 'Beast'is not computers.

The Beast is actually not that hard to understand. When you study Daniel and Revelation together you begin to understand its a power that will/does exist in the last days. Not a national power, but a religious power. It will be one that attempts to impose its power on all who will not hand over the right to "freedom of conscious belief", which means your ability to study on your own and learn the truth through the scriptures as God would have you to do. In Rev Chapter 13, versus 12 - 15 is a good start. This power will "kill" all those who will not worship as it dictates. See ya. Kentigerna.

Talking i agree

I love to hear what other people have to think about these most important subjects as we are instructed to do by God. It is up to us to see and test what we know to be true. I hope you enjoy learning about this stuff like I do. Good day! ELZPATH

The Beast in Revelation

Rev. 13:1 says," AND I stood upon the sand of the sea, and saw a beast rise up out of the sea, having seven heads and ten horns, and upon his horns ten crowns, and upon his heads the name of blasphemy". __ The sea is peoples__ In chapter 12 it talks about a certain women, that women is the nation Israel!! And beleive it or don't. Could the seven heads and ten horns: be non other than the EU? the New Roman Empire coming up? There may not be ten nations in it now, but WAIT! The second beast talked about is The AntiChrist. Notice now Rev. 17:9-18 "And here is the mind which hath wisdom. The seven heads are seven mountains, on which the women sitteth. And there are seven kings: five are fallen, and one is, and the other is not yet come; and when he cometh, he must continue a short space." (seven years) "And the beast that was, and is not, even he is the eighth, and is of the seven, and goeth into perdition. And the ten horns which thou sawest are ten kings, which have received no kingdom as yet; but receive power as kings one hour with the beast. These have one mind, and shall give their power and strength unto the beast. These shall make war with the Lamb, and the Lamb shall overcome them: for he is Lord of Lords, and King of Kings: and they that are with him are called, and chosen, and faithful. And he saith unto me, The waters which thou sawest, where the whore sitteth, are peoples, and multitudes, and nations, and tongues. And the ten horns which thou sawest upon the beast, these shall hate the whore, and shall make her desolate and naked, and shall eat her flesh, and burn her with fire. For God hath put in their hearts to fulfil his will, and to agree, and give their kingdom unto the beast, until the words of God shall be fulfilled. And the women(many different women) which thou sawest is that great city, which reigneth over the kings of the earth." (New Yorks United Nations!?) Now notice in Daniel, the statue of metals that the king dreamed with its head of gold (Babylonian Empire) his breast and his arms of silver (Media Persian Empire) his belly and thighs of brass (Greek Empire) his legs of iron (Roman Empire) and his feet part of iron and part of clay(todays Strong nations and Weak nations and the strong has little to do with the weak) The metals have degraded down the feet , ie. the moral standards of the empires has degraded! Ps. Computers are just an aid in the Cashless Society
