MR CAPL.

SO WHY WE EXIST IN THIS LIFE??

- WHY WE DIE??

-WHERE WE GO AFTER DEATH?

-DO YOU THINK THAT GOD CREATED US FOR NOTHING??

-IF WE ACCEPT WHAT U SAID THEN WHY WE ARE EXIST??NO NEED FOR OUR EXISTINCE FROM THE BIGNING?

-CAN WE CONTROL THE DEATH (I MEAN WE CAN'T STOP DEATH IN THIS LIFE )EVERY ONE WILL DIE?WHY??

-HAVE YOU EVER LOOK TO THE SKY ? WHO IS HOLDING IT FROM FALLING ON US??

- HAVE U EVER THINK ABOUT DAY AND NIGHT ? WHO IS CONTROLLING THIS..

WHEN U SLEEP WHERE IS OUR SOULS GO??WHO IS HOLDING IT.

-HAVE U EVER LOOK TO UR BODY AND SEE HOW IT WORKS. WHO BUILD IT DID WE BUILD IT ??

- DEAR FRIEND THINK ABOUT IT LETTLE?

people came to prophet mohammad pbuh and said if we die and turned to sand who will create us again ?? the answer is PLS.READ.

-49 They say: what when we are reduced to bones and dust, should we really be raised up (to be) a new creation?
-50 Say: (nay) be ye stones or iron,

51 Or created matter which, in your minds, in hardest (to be raised up), (yet shall ye be raised up) then will they say: who will cause us to return? say: he who created you first then will they wag their heads towards thee, and say, when will that be? say, may be it will be quite soon.QURA'N 17/49-51.

Kaz,
You clearly have no conception of atheism, so I'll try to answer your questions.

Why do we exist? A random combination of molecules. There is no reason, it just happened.

Why do we die? We wear out. There is no reason, it just happens.

Where do we go after death? Nowhere. We're dead. There is no reason, it just happens.

Do I think God created us for nothing? No. As I do not believe in God, how can I believe God created us?

Why do we exist? See my answer above, and you're right, there is no reason for our existence... scary, isn't it?

Can we control death? I doubt it. No matter how far medical science progresses, we will still wear out in time. Besides, who actually wants to go on for ever? Oh, I forgot, you want to live forever, only not here! Why does everyone die? There is no reason, it just happens. Although by dying, we make a bit of room for the next generation so you could say that is the reason we die; if we didn't die no new people could be born.

I have spent hours looking at the sky, and I know it is held in place by the Universal laws of gravitation, as explained by Newton.

Day and night are caused by the rotation of our planet around its parent star, the Sun. Again, gravitation controls this.

Soul in meaningless to an atheist. When we sleep, we do not cease to live, we merely rest. Even if I believed in the concept of soul, I wouldn't understand your question. Do you believe the soul leaves the body during sleep?

Physiology is wonderful, but bodies are not constructed. They are a random collection of chemicals. Amazing, but random chance. Obviously we didn't build our own bodies, but neither did anyone or anything else.

My friend, I have thought about this a lot! One does not reach atheism lightly; it requires a great deal of thought. I have heard a theologian say that an atheist is far closer to God than the average person because the atheist has obviously given a lot more thought to the issues than most people.

Now, back to you... as you clearly need a purpose and creator for all things, perhaps you could enlighten me as to your answer to my question on the origin of God? Please do not just refer me to a website. Tell me your thoughts and beliefs. Where did God come from?

Kazanova 3 is a blinkered Islamic zealot. His beliefs stem from superstition and in general have no rational basis.I know from experience that any religious discussion with this member will inevitably descend into irrationality and occasionally vitriolic abuse.Any attempt to engage in a rational and objective dialogue will invariably be a fruitless exercise.

DEAR CAPL

HI first of all nothing can be happened without reason?

- if u see a building u knew that some body build it ?? logically u agree on this ?? SO U THINK THAT WHOLE UNIVERSE HAPPENED SUDDENLY?..

- GOD NOTHING LIKE HIM NOR EQUAL TO HIM..

- AS U SAID WE DIE TO GIVE APPORTUNITY TO NEXT GENERATION ??TILL WHAT.. ?

- why we can't stay for ever?? is that mean we are under control behind our imagination inforce us to die? no one like to die??if u are rich and have ur own palace??if u are a king u will not like to die?.

- u said the ateist is near to GOD BY THINKING. U ARE RIGHT ? THINKING LEAD TO THE FAITH BY THE CREATOR OF THIS UNIVERSE?..

-if u look around ur self and looked deeply to athor creations like animal and birds (do u think they created thim selfs??

-if u believe in GOD our not it is up to u ,no one will inforce u to believe in GOD

- KEEP IN THINKING ABOUT THIS UNIVERSE U WILL REACH TO A RESULT IAM SURE.

You just don't get it!

Kaz,
I don't think you're grasping the concept here; I don't believe anything was created or has a purpose. As I don't think I was created, I am hardly likely to think other animals were created, am I?

As a matter of fact I do believe the Universe just happened, but not in it's present state. Like everything else, it evolved from something more primitive. I managed to create it as part of a thought experiment in my youth, and once I had realised that I could come up with a plausible explanation for the origin of the Universe I realised God didn't fit into the equation any more. That was when I became a committed atheist.

I know you can't get your head around it and you still desperately cling to your need for eternal life to make this life and your coming death more bearable, but if you ever manage to come to terms with it, atheism is very liberating. As there is no purpose to life and it is a once-only deal, you stop fearing anything and you start living the best life you can. There is life after death, but only in the minds of those you leave behind; live a really good life and you will live forever in the minds of those who remember your tale and tell it to others.

As you so rightly say, belief is a personal thing. No-one can make anyone else believe as they do.

Live well enough this time around and you won't need another shot at it!

It is true that to be an atheist in amny ways makes more reasonable sense. But to say we are here for no reason......

There must have been a process theough which we came into being. Big bag, evolution of species = the life that we see around us etc.

But we still need an original cause, something happening to bring this all into existance.

What caused this first action? The same kind of questioning can obviously apply to God but as those that believe in God ahave always stated that his being is not within the same laws as ours they may turn to doctrines of eternality etc. I.e. God existing outside time which is most in teresting when we consider stephen Hawking on time.

He offers mathematical proof that time come into existance with the big bang (relying on the relationship between the dimensions of the space time continuum)

We are then left with only a premise that God exists outside time and is wholly unlikely and improveable. If we look at this in terms of probability....

to postulate that God existed then is less likely than for the original "particle" (for want of a better term) to exist. God is less probable than matter existing. But to then say that particle goes through such an improbable process it then makes the God hypothesis more likely....but far from proved unless we look at the matter in digital terms.
