The question is not of geographical location.

The question is what are the differences and similarities during Apatheid South Africa and Occupied Palestine?

Please can we have some "real" intellects answering the questions rather than nonsense inquries.

The difference is patently obvious.Apartheid was morally wrong and could never be justified. It's purpose was solely to protect the interests of a minority.Palestine however is an entirely different issue.Israel is surrounded by hostile states who would like nothing better than to see her destroyed. It is therefore morally right for Israel to employ any means which will protect her sovereignty. If that means that Arabs need to suffer then that's too bad.I don't support the killing of innocent civillians but when a country is fighting a war of survival people will inevitably be killed.

Insults, in any form, are not welcome. And I have no intention in attacking anyone. I'm just doing my duty. Please, since this is a social situation, act sociable. And treat others as you would want them to treat you.

The whole question, idiot, concerns geographical location. The essences of S.A. apartheid is in no intellectual schema applicable to the essences of Middle East reality. In case you are too dense to apprehend this then another gate to rationality is "enculuration". In no way are the enculturated elements of South Africa systemic edifications of the enculturated elements of Israel. Do you have any other, supposedly, intelligent questions?

This argument is slightly contrived and too clever by half. The fact that these two regions are geographically seperate and that the issues involved differ greatly doesn't make it wrong to discuss those differences and any similarities that might exist.

Thanks Andy for showing that some light can be shed in this comparison, ulike others who resort to petty name calling.

I agree with you Andy that the minority wanted to protect their interests.

But are the Israelis not a minority, if the refugees of Palestine return to their homes?

I understand that a nation must protect itself. But let us compare the origins of Israel and Apartheid South Africa.

The violations of rights were abused in South Africa as you can see in Occupied Palestine.Land seizures, false imprisonment, innocent killings etc.

And especially the UN resolutions for Israel to return to 1947 borders with the return of refugees their homes.

Do you agree?
