I agree 100% with Nonson- thought this deserved a post just to mark the occasion! It's also nice to have wake up call on the board, I believe social justice and religion go hand in hand... I'd like to get more involved in this but I can see my bed from here and I'm way too tired to resist...

How socially aware are the Taliban? How socially aware is Afghanistan?
If you think women are willing to give up their right to education, medicine, the right to choice your husband and the size of your family then you are in good company with wake up call.

I for one would rather die for a moment of free thought, no matter how inane they are, than to live a life time in the Islamic state wake up call is striving for.

Have I missed something?..I am aware of what the situation is in Afghanistan. When did wake up call or myself pledge their support for the Taliban?... (ever get the feeling somethings flown right over your head?..)
