hi Willy
don't worry, i'll continue to post i just made the decision to stop responding to some people's comments. i think some people just like to have the opportunity to abuse others, i guess this is a good place to make rediculous, ignorant judgments. it's interesting to read your comment. it's nice to hear reasonable and rational facts and experiences coming from people you would otherwise never come into contact with - one of the great things about the internet. i think some people like to imagine that women don't have the mental capacity to make their own decisions (o.k, many don't - almost as many as men in fact). it's horribly threatening for these unfortunate souls to be challenged about this belief. i'm sure you won't, but don't take their stupid comments personally Maggie |

Thank you Maggie,
I really appreciate that. I know that some here who profess they have "THE TRUTH" only respond with hatred and contempt. (Which is odd, as that seems the exact opposite of the behaviour of Christ and what his teachings of "radical love" examplified.) And that's too bad that those very souls lose sight of what is most important and choose to degrade others to artificially inflate their own self worth, (since they obviously must be very insecure individuals). Anyway, as I'm sure you have found, the most frustrating part is that the Religion Topic has been commandeered by the most insecure of them all. Therefore, we cannot debate, exchange ideologies or just simply reason without the grotesque, crude, and infantile, antics by some who actually fear their own insecurities so blatently. Anyway, back on topic. Maybe one of these noble males has taken it upon themselves to adopt a child to support the Pro-Life movement, do you suppose? ![]() I'm sure the "experts" here onboard who know infinitely more than most world renown theologians, will set our poor, inferior, female, brains right in no time... (*gag*) (PS. Femi-Nazi's.....what plagerism...how unoriginal....just goes to show you what political "cult" people will follow in search of an identity just to find any crumb of merit within themselves.) yannow, the more I read anything Nonson posts, anywhere on this list, the more convinced I become that he can't possibly mean this stuff he spouts. It doesn't even make sense 70% of the time. The 30% of the time you can understand him, you can't agree with him. He's one of those people who just likes so stir sh**te for fun. Gotta be -- no one can really think the way he does for serious. :-)
Anyway, Maggie C (welcome) and Willy, I stopped giving my opinion in these forums because it takes too much valuable time to wade through the minefields of boggy muck tossed out by Nonson in order to have a real conversation here. (And that's his intent! So I guess he can gloat that he's "won.") Wake Up Call (who writes like a combination of Faruque (sp?) The Fanatic and JamesDot) pretends he wants to have a real debate, by being polite and asking open-ended questions, but he is just as dogmatically stubborn as Nonson and only wants to point out where you're immoral. One could try just ignoring the in-between and carrying on the conversation. But that one will be someone other than this one. :-> Teaching pigs to sing is not longer on my resume. :-) Rhiannon ("Never try and teach a pig to sing. It wastes your time, and annoys the pig.") |

ignorant, bigoted misoginists must find you really intimidating hehehe Rhiannon - yes, re: paragraph #1 i was wondering the same thing well, i'm here cos i'm interested in what, how and why other people think - but it seems that the only people capable of carrying out coherant discussions think very much like me anyway!?! but, it's nice to know you're here ![]() |
