Once I sleep on it, I'll post a suggestion to the Powers That Be that the name of this forum be changed from "Religion" to "Religion and Philosophy". Might encourage a few Existentialists and Post-Modernists to speak up.

It would be lovely to have a wee natter with the odd atheist or three. Atheism doesn't appear to be trendy, at least not in the US. How about in Scotland?

I hope you don't think I am stalking you on Scotland.com, but it seems we are attracted to the same topics.
As for that bible quote: MB, How does that prove anything? Normally I don't come to Scotland.com to b***h, but I think that posting a quote like that is really judgemental. You are indirectly telling anyone that is an atheist that they are a fool! Why can't you just say it in your own words?
Anyway, Nietszche is dead, but so is Jesus. And who cares anyway? LIve and let live. Why do you think that you are going to be so much better off than those of us that do not believe.

See that's just the thing, Jesus is not dead. He is very alive. I wasn't trying to be judgemental, I am not the judge. Sonsie seemed to be joking around and I was answering in kind. As for speaking for myself, one person's testimony about themselves is not valid. I used the word of God, the Bible. If you attack, first make sure it is an enemy, then make sure you have a shield. Just because I don't judge, doesn't mean there isn't a coming judge. I wouldn't warn people if I didn't care about them.
