What is the Worst Sin you have Commited if you believe in God

Seriously, I think the worst sin that I can think of, is I lied to save someone who had once been a friend of mine. Even though he had wronged me badly, I did not want to see him go to Juvenile Hall or worse, get charged as an adult and spend his life in jail. Now looking back on it, maybe that was not the right thing to have done. He could've gotten counseling in prison, instead of wasting his life like he is now.
But I did it for old times sake; for the sake of the person he once was and could someday be.
Who cares if I denied that it was him and refused to name who it was, even when I was questioned by police. That is my sin, and I will die with it and the punishment. I can accept that.

Than, if you believe in God, you know he would forgive you for that, you wre only a young girl, and trying to do what you thought was the right thing.

Yes, but now I am older and think of such things as "what if he does it again" or "what if everyone finds out and blames me". I have so much more to worry about.

Your own words Than, your older now, you would not let what ever happened to you, happen again.
No-one would blame you, things have changed so much, that now the system supports the children who have been abused. It's also not too late to tell, go to someone you trust Than, it does not have to be your parents. Just someone you trust. I believe you will be glad you did. Your such a sweet girl, you don't this being held over you. Do it for you.
