Looking around at the earth today, I've noticed that no matter how much I try to shut out the bad, it keeps comming. How can we go on like this? Does anyone here think there will ever be peace? God won't let us suffer. What do you guys think?

I think things should get terribly boring if there were no evil in the world. Peace Is a nice thing don't get me wrong, but to go the whole nine yards and get rid of evil. I don't think I'd vote pro on that issue.

Dear Arie

We cant have peace here in the boards how can we possibly have peace around the world

I think a lot is misunderstanding and there isnt really that many bad people out there

Do you think that if we had a bit more what Oprah calls ( I think it was Oprah) Random acts of kindness that the world may be a better place?

(Random acts of kindness definition:Like Pudding posted....I think she said she paid for someones meal at a drive up restaurant once.....or maybe letting the guy behind you go ahead of you at the grocery store check out)

I try everyday to let the traffic go by without cutting out in front of them....maybe if others see better behavior habits on the road it might spread?

Do I live up in the clouds?

Of course not, people do not have the same opinions as everyone else, nor the same patience. Just look here, and this is only a handfull of people.

I was upset about something or the other when I posted this, but it is a good question. I'm not neccesarily talking about evil. I just wish there wasn't so much saddness. I can't even remember what it was that made me think of this. I just was curious as to what everyone thought. I'm not mormon, so I'm not really concerned whether the lords permit my thinking or not. I'll think however I wish.=) Thanks all for replying...

Hmmm what to say?... This is a subject which has just been made very relevant to my life or to the lifes of people around me. I will post my opinion on the subject tomorrow when Ive had a bit of time to think but I do want to say one thing today:

Nonson- you claim to be a retired rev, if this is so didnt you feel moved to actually give an answer to this question? What do you believe nonson no fancy words, no complex theories what is your relationship with God and why can I not see God working in you through your posts?

If you're going to avoid this personal question then dont bother replying but dont change the subject- what is really important in your life nonson?
