Does anyone believe there will ever be peace?

Hello arie---Jehovah God not humans will bring permanent peace. He will sweep the earth clean of all peacebreakers and will usher in a paradise earth.(Revelation 11:15,18)God is going to bring it about regardless of our efforts.
Matthew 6:9,10 is the model prayer that jesus taught us to pray. If you read it we are actually praying for gods kingdom to come and to distroy all these other kingdom(governments). we are expressing our own longing for peace and we are demonstrating our faith in God, of bringing it about on earth.Whether we will see the peace of God's making or not depends on our hoping in Jehovah. so be patient.
