Hi The Muslim,
Of course you are welcome here!
I look forward to your input.
I LOVE Cat Stevens!

For Easter we sang his "MORNING HAS BROKEN";
"Morning has broken like the first morning,
Blackbird has spoken like the first bird.
Praise for the singing! Praise for the morning!
Praise for them, springing fresh from the Word!

Sweet the rain's new fall sunlit from heaven,
Like the first dew fall on the first grass.
Praise for the sweetness of the wet garden,
Sprung in completeness where God's feet pass.

Ours is the sunlight! Ours is the morning
Born of the one light Eden saw play!
Praise with elation, praise ev'ry morning,
God's recreation of the new day!"

Hi friend "muslim"!
I really would like to start a dialogue with you...If you've read my postings you know that I'm catholic, so what dialogue could be more necessary?
People of our religions made very sad and bad things each other. I'm sorry for the past,
I would like to speak with you friendly. I think we have the same God, simply our revelations are different. No reason to be in contrast! The only difference I notice is that you feel muslims (that - if I'm no wrong - means "subdued" to Allah) and we christians feel God's sons 'cause Jesus gave us this privilegy, this good novel. I belive that you too are God's sons... perhaps you have just to relize it. But I don't want to polemize with you, simply discuss. What do you think?

PUDDING I can say to you don't you loose your hope to give a more beautiful sense to your life... He's so near to you...just a little of courage to answer to His call !!
Well, bye matez hear you soon!!
Antonella

Anto,

Thanks for the reply, I agree that we have the same God. If we have the same God and God mentioned in the bible that there is a prophet coming after Jesus (Peace Up On Him) why didn't christians follow what God had said.
The Prophet Muhammad (Peace Up On Him) was mentioned in the bible and some people decide to refuse to accept that the last messenger was Jesus (Peace Up On Him) instead of Muhammad (Peace Up On Him).
I can give you all the details if you want. The fact is that some not all christians are limited to what they are told by priests who are paid to try to make people avoid reading Qur'an, Qur'an is for all mindkind, I don't know if you know this, but this is the truth.

Regards,
TheMuslim

Of course all views are important in a open discussion it is important, if we do not approach these subjects with an open mind then there would be nothing for us to learn or to enrich our lives.

Its important for everyone to understand that I look at this subject not as an atheist, nor as an agnostic but merely that it is up to the individual to find their own way to spirituality.

I believe few of us go through life with pagan beliefs and we all find some spirituality in our own way whether we believe in one God or several thousand gods.

I have attended several churches and denominations in the past to more clearly understand this but have a hard time believing in the paths to spirituality that they offer. I find that either religiosity and corruption prevails in most of them and in turn blinds us from the clear truth.

A clear understanding of truth leads to trust, which in turns leads to faith, which allows us to find our own individual spirituality. Any untruths will only cast shadows and aspersions. Organized religion I believe has twisted words and history for their own gains and profits so no one really knows what the truth is any more.

Suffice it to say I am looking for spirituality not salvation, because I believe it is more important and one will eventually lead to the other.

Good Luck!

Whew!!! Could we not write novels here....geez. Hi to the new guy. I just have a problem when people say that whatever book they believe in is the only one that offers the truth.
