hiya puddin,

Yes I do beleive in Guides. The talks I have with my teacher are between us..but i can tell you that there are guides out there..sometimes they come to those who are in need. or if they are have a strong beleif and they guide the person on a journey..or pathway as most call it..And yes I can feel them..I always have been able to since I was a child.. I look at it as a gift that has been bestowed upon me..and i take it seriously. I wish I could go more into it..but i can't..to do so would betray the my talks with my teacher. they are of a private matter..Just like when one talks t thier priest. My pathway that I am walking on is one of a spiritual nature..I know it is confusing but it is mine..We each have to find our own pathway in life..

Question

Evie, since you believe in God and guides, do you believe God sent the guides, and if so why would your God not want you to share more of this experience with others. (Not your personal things) but the way you found
this guide and why?

HI MATEZ!
Hello Pud, I belive in God, yes! He is my dear Father and He's everywhere...first of all near to me.
he's my Father but He is LOVE too. Unconditioned Love for me and all people, He gave us a demonstration...what? Just see Jesus on the Cross.
I'm a christian (Catholic) 'cos Jesus shows the way to go through the huge pain of human life, He made this way with us...and then...the resurrection will come!!
Well friends see you later, God bless!

Part of me wants to write a novel in response to this chunk of Willy's post, but I'll try and condense it into a few points.

Hell, as a concept, is not Man's invention. The concept of Hell is that of being eternally separated from the presence of God. The descriptions of Hell used show how bad it would actually be for this to happen to you / your soul. It's just that in order to communicate the concept to other humans, huamns have to come up with identifiable representations of how bad it is.

No loving parental fugre would condemn a baby to purgatory for not being baptized. As a Christian, I certainly don't believe God would. No loving, compassionate human should ever suggest this was the case to a new parent. It smacks of churchy people trying to guilt trip others to come to church, given that in the early days, more congregation meant more money.

In order to be avoiding purgatory / Hell /separation from God, you have to have made a choice in accepting God. Babies have no thought of right or wrong, they have never heard of God / Jesus and so have no reason to be separated from God.

Finally, you can't just see God as a loving Parental figure. The description of Father is only given to God to allow Humans to relate to some of the "perfect" qualities of God, and also the closeness of the relationship that is possible. But what kind of Father does not discipline his children for their benefit (it's where the term disciple comes from). And although I'm not a parent, I recognise that were I to have children, despite all my best efforts to instruct, teach, protect and encourage them, it's up to them what they do with their lives, how they behave, and what consequences they tehn have to face, and it's the same with us and God.

Okay I can see that this is turning into a novel, so my final point is this. Think of the other aspects of God. He (for want of a better word) is Holy and Perfect, and so will not have any sinfulness in Heaven. He's shown us the way to meet the entry requirements, it's up to us if we follow them. It's his house, so it's up to him who gets in.

This makes no sense to me at all! If the entry requirement for Heaven is a positive chosing to accept God, and if babies have never heard of God or chosen anything, then your logic dictates that babies must be refused entry to Heaven whether or not they are baptised. Only a reasoning person may gain admittance according to your thinking.
