Steve,

I don't think you have any idea to the sciences that are being talked about in the quote. I suggest you read Emerson's essay on Nature to find out what its about.

Science in this case can be defined as knowledge gained through experience.

Allah says in the Qur’an about the stages of the creation of man:
Man we did create from a quintessence (of clay); Then we placed as (a drop of) sperm (nutfah) in a place firmly fixed; Then we made the sperm into a clot of congealed blood (‘alaqah); Then of that clot we made a
(fetus) lump (mudghah); then we made out of that lump bones and clothed the bones with
flesh; then we developed out of it another creature.
(Qur’an 23:12-14).

Steve,

And what does this have to do with the subject "WHO IS YOUR GOD and WHERE IS IT". I can think of other lumps but they too unfortunately have nothing to do with this thread.

Cool

I find the way Steve joined this topic very interesting. First he "allies" himself with us against our "common enemy".....

Which gets him on "our side". Then, he goes on to start quoting very similar, almost propaganda type posts, like what "the Muslim" was posting, and then the Muslim disappears.

kinda like the whole Bruce Wayne never meets Batman type thing.

Saw this whilst reading through the old posts:

Originally posted by TheMuslim:
Islam thought (sic) us that Jesus(PBUH) is no more than a prophet. Jesus(PBUH) himself said so.
And had to reply to the contrary:

Matthew 26v63, 64
'The high priest said to him, "I charge you under oath by the living God: Tell us if you are the Christ, the Son of God."
"Yes, it is as you say," Jesus replied.'

Luke 22v70 -
'They all asked, "Are you then the Son of God?" He replied, "You are right in saying I am'

Whilst never saying it outright during his time of ministry, Jesus agrees with what these people ask.
Then there's also the voice from Heaven when Jesus gets Baptised, saying
"This is my Son, whom I love; with him I am well pleased." (Matthew 3:17, Mark 1:11 {you are my son..}, Luke 3:22, ),
which then happens again, later, when Jesus and some of the disciples go away to pray (Matt 17:5, Mark 9:7, Luke 9:35)

and there are countless times Jesus refers to his Father, like Matthew 18:10

"See that you do not look down on one of these little ones. For I tell you that their angels in heaven always see the face of my Father in heaven. "

So according to the Bible, Jesus is definitely NOT "no more than a prophet"
