TheMuslim...
I really wanted to talk friendly with you... But now I know it's impossible. You are free to belive what you want...but please respect what other feel and belive! My heart is going sad and sad... You can't say things like those here - where I am and you know I'm Christian, you know I belive in Jahwè and his son Jesus who DIED CRUCIFIED for us...I've read your all your links...but are just sofisms - Jesus is God 'cause I know Him, yes He's near to me you can belive this or not...but is a fact (this is my answer to this topic). So please do not say anymore offensive things about my sweet dear Jesus, Who is MY GOD AND MY LORD!! Come on now Muslim, you are offending people and I'm sure thats not what your Religion is about, now is it. I'm sure its not intentional so please respect my friends here and they will respect you. I only wish to know how, poeple found what they believe in and why. Not a big to do, about who is right and who is wrong. I have found everyones beliefs very interesting, the attitude of I'm right and your wrong does not sound very loving to me. All that does is convince me their is nothing when I realy need to find something.......Pudding ![]() ------------------ pudding ![]() so put on a happy face.... |

Anto,
When I first began to study the world's religions I was told that you must be objective and judge them on an equal basis. Obviously there are those whose religions do not allow for such a viewpoint as they believe any thought other than their teachings is wrong. I personally find such a viewpoint distasteful and it would be very hard to not describe it as discriminating. Most of our forefather's in North America fought hundreds of years to escape this kind of thinking and established countries in which freedom of thought, expression and belief were the building blocks of their foundations. The fact of the matter is "you believe" and that is what is important. And what is even more important you have the freedom express this belief and share it with others. I would hope that one person's one sided view of religion will not keep you from reminding us of what you believe in for that would be extremely tragic for all of us. Pudding,
I want to say something to you hun. I think perhaps this is a good place to explain about my life and past religious affiliations. I was born a catholic, my parents joined the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints (The Mormons), then I left it all behind and was stupid enough to join a cult. In all cases I found my beliefs to be .. based on someone else's perception. I am now just my own person and I think for myself. I enjoy these types of discussions but I dont comment much because I am still to fresh out of the cult. I'm afraid that what I was .. 'taught' will come out too much and I'm not sure what I believe in at the moment. Not totally anyway. There are certain things I do believe and I have commented on it some where on this particular board. That is the religion one. I think that we are moulded by the opinions of others and by our life's experiences. I know that personally I will not be walking into a church except to maybe look at the church building as a tourist alone. I have a very bad taste in my mouth where religion is concerned now. But its ok I will survive this and come out doing alright. Now if you wish to discuss my experiences in each of the above mentioned religions and how I believed with each or what each one believed as I percieved it. Feel free to email me. I would be happy to discuss it with you. I just dont feel up to putting it all on this board. But if I recieved more than just you on this, I would start a post on it. Anyway if anyone wants to discuss this, let me know. Pudding,
I am not very good at expressing how I feel about some of the postings here. Some I agree with and others I don't, but it is not for me to judge. I am not saying that I am perfect....I am not!!!!!! I believe in God....who is everywhere. You don't have to go to church to worship the Lord. I go because it has been good for me, and for my children. I have learn much and I am still learning. You never stop learning. I have a church family and they have helped me to grow and to believe in myself. It is hard to say all I want to say in a post. *********************** I would like to give you a challenge. ![]() To you pudding and to all who read this post. Go to <www.klove.com>, read & listen to the music, find out the call letters of a radio station (FM) near you, and listen to this station for a month....regularly, not just once or twice. There is a lot of information on klove....and if you listen to the words in the songs you will understand more of what I am wanting to tell you. Klove is very positive. Remember....one whole month. ![]() Peace and love be with you. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ tolitha ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ PS: Remember...this is my what I believe, and you don't have to agree with me. I will love you anyway. ------------------ "Who, being loved, is poor?" Oscar Wilde |
