Happyhart answers Celyn...

Celyn..first, allow me to say..I like you and I dont know you..but I know you...because I think you are honest and may be sincerely seeking truth..and will be honest with yourself and permit truth into your inmost being...Celyn..what do you believe?..what is your inmost belief about forever..what do you believe will happen to the real you when your eyes can no longer see the light of earth.?.who you really are without any attempt to hide anything that you ever said or did.., will go somewhere..and will that somewhere be satisfied with the decisions made in your earthly journey.?.......of course , these questions are not comfortable for some to answer, especially to a complete stranger..if so ...I'm sure I can find a nearby body of water to take a flying leap into..but ..my heart hopes you consider that a stranger cares... and dont forget..WHY?

When I read this my immediate thought was "whatever the reply, it won't even remotely answer anything" and strangely enough I was right!

David Kyle Sr., you obviously have your own beliefs, a faith in something that you hold dear. However, unfortunately for you, those beliefs and that faith do NOT prove anything - especially not the existance of any god (or gods, depending on your religion as not all have just one!) Your reply to Celyn's comment was nothing more than a load of nothing. In your previous post you said that you could clearly tell anyone who cares to listen (or in this case read) what to expect... Celyn was prepared to give you that chance and for some strange reason (or maybe not so strange really) you chose not to take it. Why would that be? Could it be because, in reality, you don't know? And even if you think you know, you certainly can't prove it! Of course you can now take this opportunity to do just that... so, I await your proof and the enlightenment it will bring us all!

Yes William, my thoughts exactly.

David Kyle Sr. Did you have a dad called David Kyle from Stirling?

David, don't take this silly poll to heart. It's just a bit of daftness from the aetheists.

I think that if you're happier with religion rather than without then that's a good thing. I myself don't require such beliefs but comfort if it comes from any source can't be a bad thing.

It's the extreme religious nutters (all religions) that I have issues with.

Saorsal..to the rescue!!!

Thank you for caring about a stranger Sarosal...you have some really cool traits that kinda flow out easily..with good end results...
First, Your comment re. my dad is not far from reality as the more refined my search becomes I am thinking that may be the " proverbial tree" to climb. However, its appearing that our family is from southwest Scotland and possibly Ayrshire vicinity..the search goes on..( I actually happened upon a possible distant link to Royalty) But, I think I'll remain a MacDonalds fan whatever the outcome of all this seemingly mysterious 007 adventuring.
Looking forward to coming across the pond early in the spring...
By the way..I care about strangers also..but not naturally from a so-called good heart..my concern for others was born many years ago one night at. approx. 10:00 pm in a life transforming moment in time when I realized for the first time that there is a God... and He knows my name..and He cares and understands..He sent His Son to suffer and die for my sins even when I was saying that there is no God...that night..I confessed my life of sin and and rebellion and simply asked for His forgiveness through Jesus Christ His Son..and in a moment of time I was changed forever...words alone cannot express how wonderful it feels to know you are forgiven forever...what made me even listen to the Biblical account that all people born into this life must make a descison to accept or reject God's provision for our sins... In a moment of clear thinking..I decided to be 100% honest with myself for the first time...I almost died Aug 1st of this year...heart stuff..but while on the op. table I was totally at peace and there was not a shread of fear..I remember drifting..leaving I think...but God had a few unfinished details for me to wrap up...maybe this note to you was one of them...Be well and never give up hope and searching for the treasure of treasures!!
