Broken Britain

Broken Britain
Britain has a broken society. This is a dark portrait but it is very true. Children are left to rot and they grew into animals. Binge drinking, drug addiction, a culture of disrespect and antisocial behavior, teenage pregnancies and abortions, knife and gun culture are part and parcel of every day life in all big city centers. The teenage pregnancies and the sheer madness of sex education teach nothing about morality. British society is suffering from unprecedented social decay and societal breakdown, according to the Children’s Society shocking evidence. Britain has more broken families than other countries. British children are rougher with each other, and live more riskily in terms of alcohol, drugs and teenage pregnancies. Britain's rate of teenage pregnancy is the highest in Western Europe. According to official figures, nearly half of all babies are now born out of wedlock. They are more likely to suffer social, mental and emotional problems. Research has revealed that migrants in Britain are more likely to have children within marriage. The teaching of sex education could not curb teenage pregnancies. Infact, it has simply increased. This is a clear indication of broken society. It is an eye opening for the Muslim community who sends their children to state schools with non-Muslim monolingual teachers.

In broken Britain, the break downs of family are ripping apart communities. According to a report, Scottish schools like English schools have become home for rapes, gun and knife culture, drug dealing, gang culture and racism. It is a horrendous portrayal of the collapse of civilized life and of human despair. Carrying weapons is becoming the norms, violence is “routine” and families are terrorized by gangs. Every parent is worried about his child being indoctrinated into the idea that gay and sexual promiscuity is “normal” modes of behavior. Homosexuality was regarded as mental illness but now blue eyed western educated elites are its defenders and promoters. The spectre of hidden epidemic of sex crimes inside Britain’s classrooms has emerged after Scotland Yard revealed there have been nearly 900 rapes or sex attacks in schools. The vast majority of victims were school children under the age of 16. As many as one in three were under 11. According to official figures, hundreds of children under the age of 12 were treated for addiction to drink and drugs.

Children are being taught that sexually transmitted diseases could be easily treated and there is no acknowledgement of the emotional harm of premature sexual activity. The truth is that more sex education and contraception are provided to children and teenagers, the more they fall pregnant. Studies have shown that access to contraception and sex education, sexual activity and conception and pregnancy rates go up. The sexual health of young Londoners is a “major public health issue” and still among the worst in the country, despite innovative projects and improvements in services.

The demand for Muslim schools comes from parents who want their children a
safe environment with an Islamic ethos. Parents see Muslim schools where children can develop their Islamic Identity where they won't feel stigmatised for being Muslims and they can feel confident about their faith. The significance and value of Muslim schools is that the Islamic religion imposed obligations of good citizenship, keeping the peace and paying taxes. While ambition of state school is to get children humping each other before they are out of primary school and giving them parenting classes when they are fourteen to help the girls cope with the babies they will have conceived at thirteen.

The moderator might want to have a look at this and decide whether the anti-homosexual innuendo is appropriate. Is a connection being made between homosexuality and a rise in the number of sex crimes?

Ifti,

Your views are well thought out and presented and give a fairly accurate picture of what it is like in the UK today. It is to our eternal shame that most of our towns and cities are just as you describe. A once great country has become the laughing stock of Europe.

Many of the children who leave school still unable to read or write are nevertheless exposed from an early age to views on sexual behaviour that add nothing to their education or upbringing. Far from reducing instances of child pregnancy and assault they are increasing at an alarming rate.

Many of those in powerful positions who should be concentrating on making things better are themselves often foremost in instances of deception, fraud, theft and all sorts of sexual perversions.

You can see here how quickly you are attacked for telling it as it is. What you say is being taken and twisted into something you do not say. This is why many good people do not speak out more. Their views are considered to be prejudiced against some interest or other.

If you are normal in this country these days it’s you that is the odd one out. Many people think like you, the trouble is nobody listens or cares. Too busy protecting their own interests and preferences.

So, he posted this thread originally in the gay and lesbian community... and... I don't understand... he has posted these over reaching statements, but he never argues his point. He just posts and let people debate. What does Islam have to do with the gay and lesbian community? That seems to be where he likes to place his posts. Another baseless, subjective article with no statistical support. sheesh... I could strain pasta with the holes in this argument.

Crofter,

His argument is to fix this problem... there should be Muslim schools/curriculum created. What's the stance over there between the government division of church and state? Is he suggesting that Muslims create private schools (that they would pay for) to do this? I can't imagine he would expect taxpayers to build private school.s

Hey, since according to his argument, the religion is about teaching good morals and to be a good citizen, any religion that upholds these morals would do.... we could build Christian schools and teach the same morals? Is that what you're suggesting? The Jewish religion would suffice too...

Is there an overwhelming anti-Muslim atmosphere over there?

I agreed with many of the points of his postings because he states what official statements and statistics corroborate. There is no need for him to defend them. They are there for all to read. Any objection to them should be directed at the government who provides them and seem incapable of reversing them.

There’s hardly a week goes by when there isn’t some official somewhere who’s allowed children to die through lack of the care that they are well paid to provide.

In many advertisements for carers they specify no previous experience required. In advertisements for even semi-skilled factory hands they specify previous experience essential.

I have now read the other thread Ifti opened and the responses are staggering.

He does not specify any particular grouping being responsible for the state of affairs he is describing.

He does not mention immigration at all

He mentions homosexuality once in a sentence that cannot be refuted. They were once considered to be outside the law and liable to jail for their activities. They were weeded out of the military by law, and that was not that long ago. The Church of England is tearing itself to pieces over the issue; the General Synod last week hardly discussed anything else.

For including that sentence he could be accused of homophobic tendencies, but he does not say so. Could it be perhaps his children have been exposed to teachings that he and his faith condemns? This is nothing more or less than most Christian denominations do except the C of E who are “Don’t knows”

He mentions no other faiths with any other morals. He merely states his own, or what we may deduce to be his own, maybe because that is the only one he feels qualified to comment on.

He points out where the demand for Muslim schools comes from and why. Many parents take a great deal of interest in the education of their children. Some have taken to breaking the law to get them into what they consider to be better schools. Should we condemn him for wanting what he considers to be the best for his?

He does not suggest that the state should provide funding for private Muslim schools.

He does not come across as anything other than a member with a reasonable point of view.

I do not know why he does not argue his case further unless it is that the points he makes are undeniable and irrefutable, and many of the responses are veering away from what he is actually saying. Perhaps he is too clever to get himself involved in semantics. Perhaps he is merely after other points of view that may or may not coincide with his own which he shows no indication of trying to impose on anyone.

I do honestly believe that the level of discussion on some of those postings would be greatly enhanced if respondents read carefully and understood properly what they are responding to.

Many of the respondents are now arguing over points they have made themselves and did not appear in the original posting at all. If he has ulterior motives such as creating division, well he managed that without lifting a finger.

I would defend his desire to argue, or not, his stance in any way he chooses, as I would, and have, defended mine. Look where it got me.

the original thread was in the gay and lesbian section...

no my question is... is there a lot of anti-Muslim sentiment there? I've heard whiffs of it. In his previous post, I suggested that private Muslim schools can be built just like there are private Catholic schools... no response but a re-post. Makes me think that the suggestion was not an option? so, if it's not a private option, you have to be aiming for a public option.

Yes Crofter, we know where it got ya.
