Banning creationism is pointless. Creationists have been trying to promote their pseudo scientific hogwash for decades and only in the US have they ever succeeded in convincing a small minority of religious radicals that their ideology has any validity. Creationism can be ignored - it offers nothing that is of value to science. I don't mind it being taught in schools as long as it is in the religious education class.
