Eminently sensible people the Swedes, if parents want their weans taught fancifull nonsense about places up in the sky etc' they have the freedom to do so, but this should be at their own time & expense and not a burden on the taxpayer who provide the wherewithal to teach literacy, numeracy, and hopefully, the ability to think for themselves.

I didn't comment on the original post because I saw the source of the article- Answers in Genesis is a website run by American evangelical cranks. They promote the usual fundie propaganda about evolution etc. without any regard for facts or evidence. They own a creationist "museum" in the US complete with exhibits of dinosaurs with saddles.

There is no God and evolution has clearly left some members of our species in a retarded state.

Tiresome Christians.

Ah Wullie, I fear more large meteors striking the planet and causing total life extinction events at regular intervals than I do thunderbolts.

This is a rather odd way for a devine super being/thing/whatever it is to amuse itself in my opinion.

I do kill garden ants and various rodent pests as necessary but I wouldn't say I enjoy it or wish death upon them.

I'm not sure of the definition of one who goes about completely wiping out life on a planet but I think it's a psychopath.

However, if any who read this do think that their belief in a God is a good thing and helps them through this labyrinth of cruelty and joy we call civilisation then more power to you.

But don't go imposing your religious practice on others as some kind of divine revelation because it isn't. It's a book written by people who didn't understand biology or physics or anything much really.
