wallace haunts smithfeilds market, he stands outside the church there trying to get at the men that executed him who are hiding in side. but the light wont let him in .

he also stands by the plaque listening to peoples commetns about him .

he was so traumatised after his torture that he could not go into the light becuasse he felt that there was a huge injustice

There is no such thing a patriatism, no man does anything for anyone unless its for himself .

william wallace and all those other scotts were all in a power struggle and betrayed each other, and most leaders except wallace submitted to logshanks , they all betrayed each other because some did not want to loose there land and there wealth , if the scotts had of stuck together they could have anialited the english , the scotts were tuff they were brave and they were more than a match for the english armies.

but this just proves that there is no such thing as patriatism, and no such thing as scottish , you may have similer looks and accents and genes but you cant change the soul, the soul has no patratism which is why the scots betrayed each other .
