I hope people who don't believe in God won't write here... I'd like to know what some people think who believe in God.

Why not? Are you only interested in hearing from people that believe in what you do? If so there isn't gonna be much of a discussion is there? So kind of a pointless topic isn't it?

Scots who believe in God are in a minority nowadays as we're a secular country but amongst believers Lutherans are very rare. Calvinism which evolved into presbyterianism was always the dominant religious ideology in lowland Scotland.

Is presbyterianism still strong in Scotland?
What are some other religions there?

The same religions as in the rest of the world. We even have Jedi Knights.

I've met some Lutherans, that is, people who were raised in the Lutheran church and are members of a Lutheran church, who have lost their faith. They are not sure they believe in God anymore - a few say they do not.
That is what I meant.

I haven't met anyone yet in Scotland who will say they believe in God...
I'm sure there are people there who do, aren't there?
Maggie
