Ach, you've more Christian charity than I can muster, OOTF. I hear that Christ forgives ALL sins, even those of mass murderers. Hardly seems fair to me. I mean, if I'm going to go to Hell for coveting my neighbour's missus and be in the company of Mao, and Genghis and Stalin and the rest, I may as well go out and off a few folk for the hell of it.

FORUM:

1 a : the marketplace or public place of an ancient Roman city forming the center of judicial and public business b : a public meeting place for open discussion c : a medium (as a newspaper or online service) of open discussion or expression of ideas.

If this really isn't a forum, but a poorly disguised blog, then we'll all be better off going elsewhere for our intellectual stimulation.

Maybe I am more charitable than you, but it has nothing to do with Christianity! As far as I am concerned, religion is fine as long as it leaves me alone. Likewise I leave others alone to believe what they want - as long as no-one is being hurt there's no problem! Then again, some people just can't allow that can they - hence the OP's weblog!

Then again, most weblogs I have read don't involve as much cutting and pasting as DV produces here - maybe he just doesn't have an opinion at all!

As for intellectual stimulation, I get plenty of that elsewhere anyway

My personal MO is to read only the shorter posts and to skip the others unless something jumps out at me. That way I can distinguish the genuinely curious debater from the egotistical Pontificator.

Prbably we think too alike to have a real disagreement. I'd love to read something from a professed Christian who believes Hitler is in heaven.

Oh well....

So ends our "debate" on Blair and his conversion - we'll have to start another topic to discuss the possible location of Hitler

You can get back to your copying and pasting now DV
