Does the Kafflik church still offer indulgences ? I remember when I went with my wife to some baby's christening in a cathedral in Batangas City, Philippines, they had a big board up on the wall offering to cancel various prayer penances for financial substitutes !

But then again, in the Philippines, you can just about buy your way out of anything !
