Post Christ Is Risen

I believe the passages quoted, but the picture was satanic. It just doesn't quite fit together. I'm Eastern Orthodox, not exactingly evangelical. Not that I have anything against the Independent Baptist. I'm not very happy about a religious denomination being so involved in the policies of my country. In all fairness most of the churches over here stay out of politics. Individually we can't help our philosophies and beliefs affecting the way we vote. I happen to know for a fact that the devoutly religious people of Scotland are just as noisy as in the US. In N. Ireland the Rev.Ian McFarland was barred from the US because of his teaching. He was invited to speak at Rev Falwell's Thomas Roads Baptist Church, unforturnately the US government wouldn't give him a visa. That was a few years back, but because of 9/11 ultra religious people are finding it it harder to enter the country. Americans are growing tired of a handful of rabble rouse rs hurting our credibility overseas. We love our country and we support our troops, but we still have the first amendment to the constitution. If you want to read something really off the wall, I'm npot saying I agree with this but read billyjack.com. That will knock your socks off!

No thanks. I dislike, with a passion, all forms of religious nutters.

Errm, pray do tell, what 'picture' are you referring to? Maybe i missed out something, especially with references to Independant Baptists. Are you simply saying things out of random or is there a nit to pick here?

Oh and before i forget, i created this thread for Christians (iregardless of denominations) to remind them of the glorious resurrection of Christ. Now, the Atheists and Agnostics of this forum may not like the announcement, but i ask everyone to be respectul towards people who practise and believe in their faith. Don't use this forum to trash a belief or religion. It's childish.

good advice DV

I would like to add to that comment. . .

If you are of the more zealous or militant type of Christian, please don't use this format to bash the agnostic or the atheist. . .

Don't be a stumbling block to anyone or condemn others based on your zeal.

Militant 'religion' has done a lot of long term damage in our little old world!

Sorry DV.... put your beliefs on here, by all means. But, expect and accept that they will be commented upon, by those who DO believe in the man in the white frock, and those of us who simply DON'T.
