Yep, I'm a teacher, it's fun!

My tea tastes are due to the hubby, he's Oregon born, bred and hope to die so I agreed to try tea his way for a bit and found that after a while sweet tea tasted like syrup!

I'm taking off from this site for a while so if I don't get to visit with y'all again, it was very nice doing so now!

I read some of that junk from the posts from the admin...it seems to me that only the moderators really post on this site anyway, so if y'all move...it'll really be a dead site

Lucky chance "seeing" you here ...let me know if you ever did get to visit Scotland

It occurred to me after I logged out that I hadn't answered your question so I am back to do that!

Yes, I have been to Scotland a couple of times. It's wonderful. The people are great, if you are a history buff, you'll enjoy it. If you just like culture, same thing, if it's scenery, same!

Regardless of what some feel, even the food was good! LOL

My daughter and I went the summer she graduated form High School, then 4 years later my hubby and I went for our 25th anniv. We'll go again sometime, too.

Once you do go, you'll start planning your next trip there on the airplane going home! I've been a lot of places in this old world and Scotland is one of the best!

You're right about the dead site thing. Apparently in order to be a member here, or a Mod, you must agree blindly with and support everything said. It didn't use to be that way, back when there were actual 'Scots' (real or at heart) running things.

I'm joining up at firstfoot.com where there is a bit of sanity!

Thanks for the information. I am planning taking my mom to Scotland in a year, she is a complete history buff...I am still debating on the two little ones...we will have to see..I just don't see them too excited about castles..then again if I got my little one a play sword.. My brother is the world traveler for us...he's lived over seas for a few years...lucky him. I'll check the other site out...thanks again.
