Do not forget that the Vatican OWNS significant holdings in many countries as well which includes land, etc. Not to mention historic sites and data. They are bigger than their library....I did mention that the auditors found their holdings too vast to audit....their holdings in places like South America alone is staggering

[quote=DistantCelt]Actually, the louve vault is significantly bigger than the vatican's - just that its filled with few humongous items of grandoise rather than parchments and scrolls and whatnot.

Without considering that each Catholic church is considered as Vatican territory and at least here in Italy the Vatican in the figure of its churches and associations enjoys helps from the Italian State...

As i explained, i am not disputing that- what i am commenting is on the overwhelming bulk of documentation in the vatican and you'd be in cuckoo-land to think that it isnt some serious pro-christian propaganda and revisionist history.

Quite honestly in past times they spent so much time in doing documents for the various Kings and church dealings and all the political intrigue I personally believe they had precious little time to be archive digging....the Pope even now is constantly meeting one dignitary or another and his underlings are busy helping him host and do that and watching over their territories and churches.....when you get involved in politics I am afraid Theology suffers.

RE:EVIL EYE protections....pagan and primitive from their ancient Baal worship
The point I made was that it was from Baal worship. Israel and the Arabs and Canaanites all worshipped Baal at one time. God had to keep disciplining them over it...at any rate the point I was making to DV was as DV already knows...(and note I know DV from other boards lol! ..in fact I was quite famous on one lol!..and was actually on more boards than the above noted ones...but DV was on 2 others that I recall along with me....and I know DV to be a wonderful online person whom I happen to like very much.).....at any rate....the radical Muslims hate INFIDELS and IDOLS and Idol worshipping yet many have this in their midst..the symbols of just that....that was the point I was making. As for Israel there are many Kabbalists too in Israel which is frowned on by the more Orthodox Jews...there are many forms of Judaism...which many may not realize and not just Zionistic Jews and Orthodox Jews exist in Israel...in fact a greater portion is moderate to non practicing....they are Jew in name only...like alot of Christians are....they get baptized at birth or later on in life and forget about it in their pursuits of sinful things and the good life...many have never set foot in a church since they left their parents homes...or since their baby baptism....

I know and i am glad that most 'jews' arnt practicing jews. Gives me hope for mankind if there is a significant percentage of population who dont take those religions too seriously.

I think that, paraphrasing Shakespeare, one taking religion too seriously is always one too many...
Whatever religion we talk about, it should be taken cum grano salis, namely reasonably, after all there is no difference between a Christian fanatic or a Muslim or Jewish fanatic.
