Is the recent uprising of the religious right in America a reactionary response to the clear fall of conservative judeo-christian religions from their reign of power?
Are they racing to grab at whatever stronghold they may still have over the people, trying not to slip into oblivion, but raising one final cry for conservative religions everywhere? Will it work? Is it working? Has there been a swing back towards the far right in the last decade? Or is it simply that the religious right also happens to be the rich white men's club? Able to put a figurehead such as George W Bush into office with their funding from corrupt and suspicious dealings. Is the religious right in America simply more organized than the liberals? And why? Does diversity in the liberal camp make mass organization more difficult? And is George W Bush responsible for the current unification of liberals everywhere due to having the common goal of eliminating him from power? Those are my religious-philosophical questions for the day. Would love to hear from both Americans and Scots/Brits...or anywhere else.

I can say for certain that George W. Bush galvanizes the left like no one else. Bill Clinton did the same for the right.
