I have a really old book. It is in pretty bad shape on the cover and side where the title is semi-legible. Via the internet I found that the title is "Cloud of Witnesses For The Royal Perogatives Of Jesus Christ Being The Last Speeches And Testimonies Of Those Who Have Suffered For The Truth In Scotland Since The Year 1680". It seems to be an original copy but the first several pages before the Preface are missing so I can't determine the copyright date or author - does anyone know when this would have been published and by whom? It measures 4" x 6" and has a black leather? cover. Lots of sites concerning a newly published book - but this is much older. I came across it with two other books - one from 1843 and another from app. late 1860's to early 1870's both concerning US history. By the way - I am from the Shaw clan. My grandmother was an Elizabeth Shaw but her parents were born in Scotland. I live in the United States. I'll check back to see if anyone can help me. Thanks
