It just seemed a topic on which I wouldn't have much to say.

I don't think that peace is a destination, or something that can be achieved or gained. Peace is the route you take, it's the way you travel.

And I still don't find much more to say.

Well thanks for at least replying....lol
I think peace comes from within.

And from talking to others lot's of folk think it's something "out there" something one might find by looking outside themselves.
No saying I'm correct just my thoughts, and was interested to hear what others on this board might have to add.
Once again thanks for taking the time to reply.

PEACE

Since there are several definitions of peace a little more to go on is required alloa.

If you are referring to the tranquility of spirit then obviously it does come from within.

What allows us to be at peace is probably different for each soul. When we are not at peace it has usually occured because of our interactions with others. Noone I know is always peaceful.

It is when enough of one group of people is not in agreement with a different group of people that war occurs. "Peace" as a result of cessation of hostilites between the two groups may not last because the differences that resulted in war in the first place are still there.

Lasting peace in this case would require that everyone accept that others believe different things. I can't see that happening.

Hi Mamie

I will not even bother answering now.. lol.. becuase you have said it better then I would have even been able to word it.

I also agree strongly with your last comment... I think perhaps a few people can be on the same thinking level with certain things, but there are way to many people whom will never except that their views are not shared by all...
