Fear...do u really believe in Studies...that show this or that???It all depends who "ordered" the Studies!...They can b arranged 2 "prove" anything.Have also read a Study!...that says....1 out of 2 Marriages end in Divorce!...cant see Gay Couples beating that!

Red face Sin???..

A Mortal Sin?.......Jesus said Love 1 another, as I have loved u.......thought that included all "kinds" of people...Adultry is 1 of the Commandments, not 2 b broken....how many Married People....have broken that 1????but maybe there is a "difference" between so called Mortal Sins?Look 4 the speck in ur own eye, before u try 2 find it in anothers..{Its not the correct quotation....which is something about a moat? & a log? but am sure u get my drift.}The" Knight" Dirk...puts it more elegantly...Cheers no Tears

Indeed it does. But that doesn't mean we have to approve of everything other people do. The way Jesus quoted the Old Testament, it's pretty clear that He accepted it as His, well, Bible. And Leviticus banned homosexual sex. Jesus most likely qould not have approved of homosexuality.

Quite a few, and that's far worse than sodomy.

Re: Studies????

The studies that say 50% of marriages end in divorce are correct but the one that says same-gender unions have a shorter life span may not be? Is it safe to say that the studies on divorce were actually ordered by a group of people against Marriage? It does not make sense to me; we are likely to accept the results of studies from sources we trust. And in reality independent groups do not lead studies often – they are usually done by a community – that being scientific, religious or another – or by the government.

Re: Sin???..

Don't know about sin, but... Don't we all think our set of values is the best, isn't that why we choose them? All people live by values they think appropriate and if people are free to choose those – as long as they are within the law – why choose the ones that contradict one's life-style directly?
