Well, you said you didn't like the idea of absolutes. If there are no absolutes, morality is relative.

Remember, I said earlier that I'm not positive that my morality is absolutely right. I am only positive that some theoretical moral absolutes must exist, because otherwise all morality would be relative and there would be no way to prove that Auschwitz was immoral.
Personally, I do not believe the Crusades were justified.

BatEl, nowhere in the Bible the Crusades were sanctioned. Please don't mix up past ignorance of scripture with biblical absolutes. They are poles apart.
John 14:6 is absolute. Acts 4:12 is abosolute. The 10 commandments is absoute. The morals in the Bible are absolutes for all believers, whether they interpret it accurately or not. The claims of the Bible remains the same. Revelation 20:15 is absolute. |
