Hi Spitfire, I'm glad you're there for Scottie. Please go deeper in the Lord -- as you will, I believe -- because I see great potential in you.

Remember, our Lord call some believers to be kings (Rev. 3:11, 21; 2 Tim. 4:6-8); of course Jesus is king of Kings. Some believers, without realizing this heavenly reign in the next life, fall away through pride, greed, or immorality and forfeit their rewards. "MANY ARE CALLED, BUT FEW ARE CHOSEN". This will be determined after we go through the judgment seat of Christ (2 Cor. 5:10).

The called ones who lose their reward will have a time of weeping and gnashing of teeth (Mt. 24:51; 1 Cor 3:11-15) (remorse multiplied million times), and then our Lord in love and grace will wipe their tears. But their position will be "saved by grace" only.

Salvation is received freely by grace (Ephesian 2:8-9). Reward is earned by humility and faithfulness in the Lord (Rev. 14:13, 2 John 8, etc).

Hi Scottie, here is a principle:

Jesus taught us to pray "Lead us not into temptation" (Matthew 6:13).

Concerning boy friend thing, if you can handle it without falling into temptation, then enjoy the fellowship. But if you think there is heavy pressure to compromise, then you need to avoid certain situations (2 Timothy 2:22.)

Remember God will provide an escape route when you feel trapped (1 Cor. 10:13). Run, baby, run. Run away from temptation you can't handle.

I know I'm tossing in plenty of scriptures. But its good for the faith. Read 1 Cor. 10:1-13, when you have time.

Verse 12 is for folks like Spitfire and me. Constant reminder. Humility, watchfulness, and prayer.

Theja,

I don't mind the scripture thing. I look them up after you tell me to.

As for the boyfriend thing, he's going to be just a friend, I don't mind. I'll always love him, not romantically, though.
