we all have the same amount of time, but we use it differently. When we use time, we are choosing one activity and excluding another. doing anything well takes time. some things don't get done due to a lack of interest, not a lack of time.
what is a goal?
A goal is an "image or picture of the future", it is a statement of faith, it is a future event towards which we can measure progress. Goals focus on the future, they allow us to dream, to project our desires, into future realities. Goals motivate one to action.
Goals help protect us from the tyranny of the urgent..
Goals help us measure progress..they also help control the stress's in ones life.
We should establish long term and short term goals..
Your goals should cover all areas of your life:
Physical, emotional, spiritual, financial, occupational, educational, and social.
Never write goals for yourself that are unspecific, or unmeasureable, always make attainable goals..
Your goals should be worthwhile, and written down so you won't forget.

....................................................................

God made us social creatures: people who need people.
Friendship produces many beneficial results.

there is a persistant, if uniformed, suspicion in most of us that we can solve our own problems and be the captains of our own ships of life, but the fact of the matter is that by ourselves we can be consumed by our problems and suffer shipwreck.
Friends can:

1. encourage you in your spiritual development
2. help you develop self-discipline
3. can facilitate your success in life
4. aid you to know yourself better..

Loneliness:

what is loneliness?

Loneliness is the single experience most common to us all, yet it is the most misunderstood..at the heart of loneliness is a sense of isolation, and seperation. Loneliness also invloves the feeling that there is no one and no thing responsive to our deep longing for support, caring, and love..

Sean, did you write this yourself? It's very insightful. And, just so you know, I'm not cyber-stalking you (I've responded to almost all of your posts)...you just seem like you need a friend and I want you to feel welcome.

It's a thread I started in protest of people who have no senses of humor. It's in this forum. The thread is called "My Sandbox...searching for the lost senses of humor of some of the people in this forum"..or something like that.
