Tom, please don't leave like this.

I did notice this afternoon that you were being nice in your posts and that you didn't even lash out when someone was out of line and insulting you. I was quite impressed! When you are not hostile or cynical your contributions are very appreciated. I appreciate them!

You are exceptionally intelligent. I like seeing you apply that intelligence to understanding people... with enough humility to really understand and with some thoughtfulness to how others would receive your words.

You have soooo much potential, Tom. Not that you don't have merits as you are, you do.

I don't know what has happened inside of you these last few days, but obviously it is something, and maybe that something is personal growth. I hope so.

I'll be honest (you'd know immediately if i wasn't)... i can't take it when you are being caustic and i have learned it's not healthy to put up with certain behavior from anyone. But I DO like talking with you when you are not... um... obnoxious.

I don't know if you are planning on leaving for good or if you are planning on coming back under a new name and trying to start fresh. I can understand that.

But i have learned much from knowing you, and grown also, and learned more about some of my own faults. And if you have learned something too, i would like to know you still.

I wish you the best.

Sincerely,
holly
