Ulrikke...I am VERY sorry that you feel I was THAT "disruptive" to your thread. I mean, I'm not losing sleep over it or anything, but I do feel a twinge of guilt because you have misjudged me. I was just being playful...I didn't know that your "fish" thread meant SO much to you. I mean, you were supposed to laugh, or at least chuckle...it's not my fault YOU missed the cue.

Besides...I DID discuss my opinion about whether or not fish were conscious/felt pain. But I feel like because it wasn't YOUR opinion you disregarded me very rudely.

PLUS...you sided WITH TOM...that's like siding with Darth Vader (sorry...I know you don't like movie references, but I felt like comparing Tom to the Devil would be maybe a LITTLE harsh).

Now, I'm about to say something and I'm entirely serious about it...I want your opinion (politely please, if you can manage). Wouldn't it stand to reason that EVERYTHING that is living would be conscious at some level or another. Couldn't you draw from that that everything that's living considers itself the most important species alive (we do)? Wouldn't it then stand to reason that every conscious living thing would then assume that THEIR pain is worse than any other creature's pain (again...we do)?

This is an actual question...no more playful Dragon...people here don't APPRECIATE the coolness of playful Dragon.

Spitfiredragon - You may have intended it as playful, but if you cruise into someone's thread, that is intended as a serious discussion of an interesting question, and say "Stuff the fish...lets talk about some crazy paranormal stuff instead, because that is what I feel like..." then you are liable to hack people off!

I don't see anyone siding with anyone here, there is no connection between my posts to you and Sawyer, but then again you would need to actually have a basic knowledge of the posters in these forums! It may also help to understand and absorb what you read.

It is time for the coolness of playful Dragon to go find another sand box! This one is not for you.
