Rescue Scottish Pets - new site to find all animals in need

Hi,

Just wanted to post here to let people know I have started a new website aimed at helping shelters all over Scotland rehome pets in need.

My idea is to provide one place where people can view pets in need of rescues from shelters all over Scotland. I thought this would help by

a) raising awareness of pets in need
b) help people find pets as it is hard to go through/find many websites
c) help shelters who can't afford websites

The website is up but I am still adding a lot to it in terms of functionality. You can check it out at:

Note: if you use Internet Explorer 6 it does not work that great yet!

It currently features cats, dogs and even a pair of gerbils in need of a new home. There are quite a few shelters already onboard and more coming on every few days so if you were thinking of getting a new pet please consider rescueing instead.
