I agree with a topic's name. I also prefer dogs, and I do find cats a little feminine...

I have to say I like this post. It can be a factor but it's mostly what you make of your pet. It's not with the gender.

You can get really attached to your pet whether it`s dog , cat whatever. I had my dog fourteen years, he came to me when he was about a year and he`d had a poor start. From the very first he was like my shadow and for the next fourteen years he followed me everywhere, even from room to room. He was a good old thing and I still miss him!
