Pogofish, very cute! Looks like you have a Jellicle Cat and a Rum Tum Tugger!

I fear cats in my home would lead a very terrified life! When a Corgi owns you, they keep all such intruders on the run! That goes for birds in the yard, goats in the field, horses in the pasture, neighbors walking down the lane. . .

I hope Dribs is well. I once had a dog that went deaf, as long as she could see us, she was fine but if we were out of her line of sight she was a basket case, I became the most watched dog owner in the county! I expect Dribs is more independent than my old dog was.

Thanks.

It is called a Fire-Labyrinth. Takes its inspiration from the pagan/dark-age ones to be found all across Europe. Rheims Cathedral has a particularly famous one IIRC.

This one was sort of Labyrinth-lite as the highlight/closing event for a small local music festival, done by a friend who does more elaborate (& hotter ones) at other significant times of year - eg the Winter Solstice, where they have a decidedly unworldly, birth/rebirth theme.

Update Time

At the moment Dribz is asleep across the back of a chair, she spends
at least 21 hours sleeping now and the rest of the time being fussed or singing away
to herself !!

We have steps all over for her to climb onto her favourite places.

Her eating is my main worry, she can go at least 12 hours sometimes and usually its buttered
toast that she starts with...the only thing I know she will not turn her nose up at !!

Like human's when they get older she seems to have 'shrunk'

Her coat is still shiny but a little coarse and her eyes light up like a kitten's !!

To look at her you would think she is a kitten(so tiny) !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So all in all there is not much noticeable change in Dribz, its gradual, my parents noticed how
she had 'aged' in the last few months since they saw her(we took her south with us when we
went, she stayed with them)

PS....we have been working out again how old she must be and the reckoning is she will be 22 in
January...I gave her Jan 1st for her birthday !!

Good age for any pet I know !!

Sounds like she's doing pretty well. Lady MacDribs, the Grande Dame of Aberdeen!

Cats howl for various reasons...un-neutered ones will usually howl if in want of sexual happenings
but as Dribz has been neutered thats not her reason for doing so !!

They also howl when in pain but the vet has said that her 'singing' is probably so she can feel the
vibrations..just like she does when purring, which she is always doing even when asleep !!
