Apparently, British Shorthairs are found in Ireland and Scotland. THe Irish Shrothair is a receration of the post-war British Shorthiar, and cats of this type are still found in Ireland and Scotland.

Sorry, that should read Irish Shorthair. The Irish Shorthair is a recreation.
I'll ask some cat experts if they know what pre-war British Shorthairs look like.

New Cat Breed In Scotland !!

Three years I brought to Scotland a breed of cat !!

She is a cute Tortieshell with lovely green eyes and a nature as sweet as honey !! !!

I would post a picture of her but haven't mastered that yet !!

Lith....there is a British Shorthair breeder in Linlithgow.....you want to go see if there are any
you might like....lolololololol

Shorthaired cats have been around for centuries and if their appearance has altered its all down to
breeders trying to make new breeds !!

Scottish fold cats are not the prettiest cats I have ever seen, they have folded down ears that
makes the head look squashed !!

I know when my 'Dribs' departs I will be seriously thinking of getting a 'Ragdoll Cat', think will need a
hefty bankloan for it though as they are so pricey !!

I like Scottish folds_ I think their ears makes them look authentic.
