Pain Medications

Protect your pet from people prescriptions...even if she is in pain.

Aspirin, acetaminophen, ibuprofen, and other antoinflammatories---like most medications for people--should never be given to cats. Even low doses can be dangerous, because cats don't have the enzymes to process these drugs. If your cat appears to be in pain, call your vet, and always keep pills in their bottles and out of your pet's reach.
