Successful Dieting :)

Well it would appear that not only Mommy diets .. lol..

Misty is doing wonderfully. She is down over a pound now, according to my scale.. but when she goes for her grooming.. I will get her weight taken at the vets..

I cut down on the dry food a lot. Her Vet gave me a measuring cup, and I give her only 1/4 to 1/2 cup of dry a day, as well as a wee can of wet. she also doesn't get to eat Mommies food either anymore.. lol.. She just loves when I open up a can of Tuna or chicken.. but on her Birthday.. lol.. she got herself a can of Tuna.. I swear she licked the bowl totally clean.. lmao.. She has also been drinking her kitty milk more now, and of course, Wakes Mommy up at all silly hours .. lol.. wanting more food.. but.. I canni give in.

I have to give her some Kitty Lax every once in a while when I see that she is not making poppy everyday.. .. lol.. and that may as well help her.

The Vet said that because she is a house cat, who has less opportunity to get exercise, like an outdoor cat does, I have to be careful with her weight because it could cause health problems in the future if it got out of control.

She lasted weighted in at 14 pounds, and I'm just trying to do as her Vet said and get her to 11 or so.. no more then 12.. so.. She's doing great
