Converse WIth Your Cat
Talking to your cat can help show affection, control behavior issues, and improve your relatiionship with your pet.
Even hough you don't speak the same language, your cat can understand much of your tone of voice and body language. From single-word commands to animated speech, an upbeat intonation can help socialize, soothe, or sweet-talk your cat into becoming a better cat. |

Well Blinky, she is so not used to getting shouted at that when I do shout at her she completly ignores me and looks about to see what Scamp is doing wrong now..lol
I am wise to her and now know she is a little sneaky one. ![]()

lmao.. but for the most part... she's not really all that much trouble so she is just assuming.. lol.. its wee scamp eh? When I shout at Misty.. she ignores me too.. never have to shout at her anyway as she has the run of the place, however, when I call her in a sweet coaxing voice, she comes running.. lol.. I truly believe that cats are extreamlly intelligent.. ![]()

My kitchen is completely open, and the cats were just gong where they wanted; to prevent this, I enclosed the kitchen with "chicken wire"...that worked--for awhile, that is, until the three-legged cat figured out to get in!! The other cat figured out that she could just climb over the wire...I've given up the struggle...
