Don't count on your cat's internal righting system to prevent injuries from a fall.

Although cats may be agile and acrobatic enought to land feet first, their legs and paws are not equipped to absorb the force of a high-impact landing. Reduce your cat's risk of injury with well- fitted window screens. Reinforce balcony railings with protective netting or sturdy mesh.
