Lucky the Rabbit survived after being thrown into a lake with dynamite strapped to her by her previous owners. Please read Lucky's entire story, of her new home and the abuse she endured. You can see photos and read letters from Lucky's supporters and sign the petition seeking the maximum penalty for Lucky's abusers.

I knew that watching Looney Tunes could lead to something bad.

In all seriousness - I have been a hunter and trapper for much of my life - but anyone who would do something like this for kicks is just sick.

Oh, I agree!! Anyone who would do that to an animal TRULY has problems; it's scary to think that, with the right elements available, they could turn on a human. They need to receive some kind of treatment as well as punishment...I'm SO HAPPY the rabbit now has a happy home! Thanks for submitting this story!

That is probably the most sick thing I have ever read.
This rabbit was his pet for heavens sake and his Dad passes it off because he saved four people from drowning, what has that got to do with it?
