Talking

No not me lol! This subject begins with my early this morning incident with Racoons...a whole pack of them. At 3am
I ran out of ciggies and went to the 24 hour to get some as I re-entered my yard I ran into 2 big racoons...cute lil beggars...but one of them ...I presume the male..decided that I was not going to come into the yard...so he rushed at me....realizing his mate was next to him and he was probably protective I backed up and talked to him....he watched me for awhile and then went around the corner...I moved toward the stairs and out he rushes towards me...so I retreat backwards again lol! man it is 3 blithering am and I am cold...this is Canada..not exactly warm at 3am...but I wait longer....soon all is quiet...so I dash to the stairs as I look back lol! lo and behold 3 more of the little beggars had been sneaking up behind me! There were 5 in the yard...man they were bold....cute though....absolutely adorable...I had one for a pet many years ago...we called him Billy...we had him several years and what a character!

LOL O, NO!! Attack of the wild raccoons!! LOL
There is a restaurant in Houston that is set in a woodland setting; one of the nice things about this restaurant is that wild animals will be eating and cavorting right outside---it's as though you've got a front row seat to 'animal olympics'---But, it isn't as funny as you encounter with those fierce raccoons...LOL...

A wildlife restaurant sounds cool!
Yes it was funny lol! Back when we had Billy my dad built him a special pen complete with ant filled tree trunk...I still remember dragging that dang thing over to the pen with ants swarming all over me...Billy loved us after that...he had this habit of getting out (he chewed through the chicken wire) and climbing up through the attic into our rooms...we never quite figured out how...then he would head for our beds to gnaw playfully on our toes...so of course we would hide under the blankets which encouraged him mightily...mom said she went through plenty of coats and comforters that Billy tore up in his play with us...he was a hoot...I sure do miss the little varmit...he also used to climb trees waaay out past our house..usually on the hottest days...we were told we could not abandon him (I think the evil child knew English)... because he would find the tallest tree and let us just cook -usually without water- waiting for him to come down...and there upside down in the tree looking at us mischeviously he would be na na na na na na...come up and get me...course we couldn't and so we'd sweat till someone came a lookin' for us or we'd scream till someone heard us....he was almost human our Billy...I've never had a pet I loved so much as that little beggar.

i've always been told that if you come on a wild racoon that you should avoid it at all costs - they can be quite vicious and also could be rabid.... at least that's what i've been told by several people

I've read that, too. It just makes sense to take precautions.
