This quiz will help you make the right decision.

1. THE STORY BEHIND YOUR WANTING AN ANIMAL IS: (a)You have young children who are pestering you for a pet, but you know you'll be the one who ends up taking care of it, and you have too much to do as it is. (b)Your kids want a pet and are old enough to take responsibility for it, but you fear that will lead to nagging and arguments when they forget to live up to the duties they agreed to. (c) You are a passionate animal lover for whom life is not complete without a pet who's a part of th family. (d) You were walking past a pet store the other day when a cute creature caught your eye and you suddenly thought it might be fun to get one.

2. YOUR IDEA OF A SUITABLE RELATIONSHIP WITH A PET IS: (A) something you can look at from time to time but don't have to rearrange your life to take care of. (B) A creature you might play with for a few minutes everyday, but don''t have to spend quality time with. (C) A significant patr of your life that will require time, energy, and commitment. (D) In flux, because your kids are growing up and leaving the household and you may be moving to a place that doesn't allow animals.

3. YOUR CURRENT LIFESTYLE IS: (A) Very hectic---you're on the go 24/7 and sometimes need to go out town at a moment's notice. (B) Generally predictable, with regular hours and homebased routines, but you have health problems that sometimes prevent you from geting out and about. (C)Very domestic---you're the homebody type whose idea of a good time is to spend a cozy night in rather than going out.
(D) Free and easy---you're retired and like to travel, so "home" has become a pit stop between your adventures.

4. YOUR IDEA OF PET CARE IS: (a) you're willing to drop a few flakes of fish food into some water before you dash out in the mornig, and you could probably mange to clean the tank on a slow weekend, but that's bout it. (B) You recognize that living creatures have to be fed and watered, and you'd even clean out a birdcage with some regularity, but you're notg about to come righ home after work everyday just to walk a dog. (C) You really want the love and companionship of a pet, and you're prepared to make all necessary adjustments in your lifestyle. (D) Pet care? You can't even find time to open your mail.

5. WHEN YOU THINK ABOUT YOUR SUPPORT SYSTEM, YOU REALIZE THAT: (A) You live alone, and while you might be able to persuade a neighbor to toss a few leaves into the lizard terrarium if you go away, you don't have anyone to count on for a more substantial commitment. (B) When you go on vacation, you have a roommate or friend who wouldn't mind looking after that cute bunny you fell in love with at the pet store. (C) You live with family members or have a pet-loving friend who would be available and happy to take care of yoru dog while you're gone. (D) You're new in town, don't know anyone, and can't imagine whom you might ask for a favor.

This may not be my thread to Moderate.. but I am just besides myself..

Why are you here? Why do you post at all? Didn't you say you were going? Why have you not gone yet? All the stuff coming out of your mouth, first off, is all bulls*ite.. DO you think the Members here are so neive that they canni see past your "crying for attention" behavior?

After that riduclious comment of yours in the Family thread.. I am done with you and your riduclious posts. Perhaps Admin will get fed up with your behavior, because I'm honestly tired of reading it all.. And you honestly have not said anything intelligent or on a level of maturity.. just all childish stuff that I'm sure we can all live without.

Do yourself a favour.. Take a long look at yourself, and decide if you are actually interesting enough to post here on a friendly level.. then come back eh?

are you fing kidding me?

I think I have said this to you before, but coming to a PETS forum and trying to tell us PET lovers that they aren't worth anything is about as dumb of an action that one can take.
And I do have to agree with Mistress here. Why are you here? All you have to say are negative, hate filled comments.

You know what.. don't even bother answering, because I just can not be bothered with you anymore. If you decide to continue to post on any of the threads that i moderate, and continue to post your hate filled remarks they will be deleted.

Well...I printed this because I just thought there might be someone who REALLY did not know wht kind of pet they wanted...or, for some reason had difficulty with that decision. Obviously, this raised a LOT of strong emotions.
This was just a 'quiz' designed to help someone makeup their minds...
