A Younger Cat in 7 Steps
Keeping your feline friend as young as possible can help improve the length and quality of your pet's life. To make your pet younger, help your cat follow trhese 7 steps:
1. HELP YOUR CAT MAINTAIN A HELTHY, TRIM FIGURE. Your cat should be well proportioned with a lightly nipped waist and little belly fat.
2. KEEP PEOPLE FOODS FROM YOUR CAT AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE. In general, human leftovers contribute little to your cat's very particular dietary needs.
3. GIVE YOUR KITTY TREATS ONLY OCCASIONALLY.
4. KEEP YOUR CAT'S MOUTH CLEAN AND HEALTHY. Proper oral hygiene for cats, including regular tooth brushing and dental treats, will help keep your pet's mourh disease free.
5. PLAY WITH YOUR CAT. If yoru cat is an indoor pet, he or she may not get enough exercise. Give your cat a variety of feline-friendly toys and endourage your cat by participating in playtime. You'll both benefit.
6. SCHEDULE REGULAR VETERINARIAN VISITS. Early vaccinations and regular vet visits help prevent illness.
7. KEEP YOUR CAT SAFE AND SECURE INSIDE YOUR HOME. Disease, predators, traffic, and other outdoor dangers drastically shorten the life apan of the average cat.
