...I don't have an answer for that. Freddie sounds like he was really unique! I'm sorry for your loss. Animals seem to have these extra senses we don't...or aren't tuned to. He's been gone 18 months? That's awhile, but, let me tell you this...I have a cat that's named "Tinker". I keep calling him "Chicken", the name of a cat I had about ten years ago! We humans (and pets, too) make emotional connections, and they last. I STILL say you are OK, but,if you find yourself not being able to do your everyday type of acitivities, will you just talk to someone...preferably in the counseling field, who can offer specific help in dealing with grief? Again, there is ABSOLUTELY nothing wrong with this---people make emotional ties that are surprisingly durable and long lasting! Sometimes these ties can stop us from fully living in the now. Please let us know how you are doing, OK?

Thank you for your kind words but I really am OK
I do miss Freddie very much but I deal with my "everyday" stuff just as I always have.

I also believe that he was very unique and that's why I feel that he is irreplaceable and do not want to get another pet. I do get very attached so I don't want to have to deal with that type of loss again. I have had to deal with a lot of loss in my life and I don't need any more heartaches.

You are a very sweet person and I thank you again for your concern.

Kat
