Yes...he's FINALLY HOME!! And, he won't let me out of his sight hehehe---I guess he missed me while at the vet's. THEY were so nice to Tinker! They let him out of his cage during the day (while still in the vet's business office); they even gave him a toy! PLUS...y'know I'm barely surviving on disability for now...thay actually took 19 checks for $10 (each), to pay for the cost of his quaratine. The checks will be cashed every two weeks...BTW, the stray cat that he ran after is back...she comes by every morning and afternoon (she's pregnant; I've found a home for her after her kittens are born) Well, ny cat sliped out the door just yesterday morning, but THIS time, all they did was to hiss at each other (and, I'm thinking "No!---my hand is STILL swollen!! It still hurts! You are NOT going to fight!!) This time I scooped up my cat, and put him inside, and all was well...

Lol...

Yes it also works for the police against rioters..lol...

I have also found a big stick works too...for dogs I mean...though you could use a smaller one on a cat I guess...another good one is a blanket or a big towel thrown over one of the kitty's...prefferably your own..lol...cause you can then just scoop it up and take in indoors...

[i]Aye... Welcome home Tinker!!

I've never had the horror of needed to break up a cat or dog fight.. I think the hose is a good idea.. but thats if one is handy.. the towel thing sounds good too..

But you know.. the sounds the Kitties make when they are at it are unreal..

I tend to not go looking in the bush to see whats up.. at least I know my girls are in the house where they are safe

This SHOULD be the fianl note about 'my Tinker'---lol---that's my cat, y'know...He's STILL runningout the door...and the stray mother cat is still coming arouns...only she's had her kittens, and has hidden them somewhere (I've teied following her, but she's SMART...she will lie down, and go nowhere when she notices me trailing her.) lol Anyway, I DID chase after Tinker again, and grabbed his tail all the while thinking, "Oh, no!!" BUT...he started to bite, then retracted his claws, and gentled his bite. I got a friend to help put a HARNESS on him. This time, he's not fighting it. lol (relief) I've even gotten a leash, so now he can go out and play on the porch, and I'm not scared he'll runaway. (he actually PLAYED/TEASED me: the first time he ran out, I followed, (not wearing my classes or contact lens,) it was pretty futile even looking...so, there I was, on my hands and knees, in the parking lot, looking under cars, when my cat comes walking up to my RIGHT shoulder---I was looking left---. The silly cat bolted off when I reached for him...I'm positive he was just laughing at him...I KNOW he thinks of me as his piece of warm-blooded furniture! HOWEVER...that harness is not coming off him!! The stray mother cat looks fine...I have a home for her, and will try to place her kittens...if I can find them...And, my hand is STILL swollen!! Isn't life crazy?!! Book. Cats. Life is good. hehehe
