hello Joan. I'm not a "fellow" and I don't have time to write individual penpals. (And you don't make it clear if you're looking for a male specifically.) I tend to have conversations on the board with everyone and see who is interesting, who not, over time. :-) But I'm just responding to tell you -- and anyone else that posts here -- that its helpful to say a little something about yourself in an introduction. What you like, your interests, etc. Or even, WHY Scotland, since you live in another country. That would start a conversation with folks here. Otherwise, you might get lost in the crowd. :-)
There's also a topic called "Who Are You" (In the Scotland*C'monINN forum) in which members are posting information about themselves so we an all get to know one another more. Welcome and have a great time on the board. Rhiannon |

Dear Rhiannon,
I thought you could see one my profile where I come from and what my interests are. As for why Scotland, I wrote this in an ad last months, saying that I am totaly in love with Scotland, and I tried to find some pen-pals from there. Unfortunately I wasn't lucky. So know I am trying to find pen-pals from all over the world, maybe I'll be more lucky this time. I like to travel but now being a single mom with two kids I won't be able to do it anymore so I am hoping that writing to people all over the world would help me travel in my mind. I would prefer a male pen-pal because I live alone and don't have any male people around me, but enough girlfriends. Hope this will help to know a little bit more about me. Joan |
